Cheryl Cole - Crazy Stupid Love Music Video Analysis
The camerawork of the music video is very conventional of a pop music video as it features various close-ups of the artist
There are also a few long shots of the artist to show her dance routine and the physicality of her dancing
The music video uses a lot of montage editing and is very fast paced the video is always moving forward it doesn't linger on any shots
The Mise en Scene is quite unconventional of a pop music video as usually pop music videos feature bright locations and clothing where as in this video the location and clothing contrasts with that idea as it is quite dark
The video has been given a sort of night club setting which fits the idea of the song but contrasts with the traditional conventions of a pop music video.
However it does try to keep some of the pop music video conventions by having bright neon style lights and lasers to keep the artist in light so that it is not completely dark
Additionally the video also uses product placement at the start of the video there are two shots that are only seconds apart from each other which both show the beats pill
